Postscript Printing.
It started with a dream, first cracked by Jim Colette, carried on by Dale Sidebottom and thanks to his efforts and the programming
skills of Maurice Randall--PRINTING from a LASER, using Postscript (level1 and 2) is now a reality on our Commodores. You
of course need a laser printer, the Optra series is favoured in America, whilst the Hewlett Packard is more common in the
United Kingdom. You also need Dale Sidebottoms LASER LOVERS DISK. Next you will need PP2-3, available from Maurice Randall.
This comes without any charge. That is the basic package you require. With the implentation of printing JPEG files (level
2)it is highly reccommended that you have a high capacity storage drive. Jpeg files can require large amounts of storage space.
Like any hardware the more ram you have in your printer the better. Below are some of my favourites that I use in correspondance
with my Commodorian friends.
